Motor City Rockerz

8 CLASSES    COST: $10 DROP-IN OR 8 CLASSES FOR $65

  • Motor City Rockerz is hosting classes 2 days out of the week. We are teaching Breakin'(break dancing) and will also have guest instructors teaching house dance, popping, and tutting (all different kinds of Street Dance styles). The program encourages our students to do their “homework” by taking an At Home Conditioning practice with them. The dance is very physical which is why we encourage our students to work off the floor as much as on the floor as they can. There is an equipment charge due at registration as well. $30 (includes spin cap, knee/elbow pads, & shirt)

Peace Camp

  • July 13-24, 2015, 9a-3pm at Fort Street Presbyterian Church
  • Programs in peace education, arts, ecology, conflict resolution, and community activism with field trips and visits to community organizations
  • For metro Detroit children and youth entering the 1st-8th grades
  • Parents provide lunch, snacks, and supplies. Registration fee: $25, no tuition fee.
